2019 Traffic Accident Fatalities In The United States




In 2019 traffic accident fatalities declined from previous years. The National Highway Transportation Safety Administration compiles data on how many traffic fatalities occur every year in the United States. It is important to collect this data and use is to more fully understand how to decrease the number of people dying on our roads every year.

In the United States approximately 36,120 people died from motor vehicle accidents and car accident related injuries. In 2018 approximately 440 more people died then in 2019. In order to sustain the decrease in auto accidents the National Highway Transportation Safety Administration released $562 million dollars in grants. These funds are meant to go to state and local law enforcement agencies. The local authorities are supposed to use the funds to increase their traffic safety efforts and to decrease hazardous driving behavior.

Tractor Trailer Truck Accident

A Distribution Center is generally a central location that Semi-Trucks go to load and unload their Tractor Trailers. The case I worked on was where a tractor trailer truck driver was hit by another tractor trailer truck.
