How the police report affects your car accident claim.

Image
For most car accidents, a police report is generated by the responding police officer. Typically, the police report is the primary means of determining liability. However, quite often further investigation is needed. When a Police Officer shows up to the scene of an accident they usually write it up how they see it. Sometimes, its not accurate and further investigation is needed. For example, one of my clients were in a car accident, at first impression it appeared that the facts were unfavorable to my client and the fine officer wrote the police report in a manner the put fault on my client. Fortunately, my client called me, a dedicated  car accident lawyer  whom investigated further. At first glance I saw how the officer came to their determination however, after canvassing the area for witness’s we were able to find a witness that viewed the accident differently. Our fine civil servant Police Officers have long days that are very busy and can only spend a certain amount of time on e

I pay referral fees to other lawyers. You refer the case and one day most likely get a percentage check.

I pay referral fees to other lawyers for personal injury cases and most insurance claims. The amount the client is charged is the same whether I pay a referral fee to another lawyer or not. Therefore, the percentage the client get of any settlement obtained for the client is the same whether another lawyer refers a case or the client comes to me directly. Allow me to take my experience and obtain a settlement or verdict for a client that came to you. Maybe it is a practice area that you don’t do or are to busy to handle the case.             My experience can be used by your firm for any case overload. I focus on handling matters as efficiently as possible for clients. Pre-suit or Litigation, I have experience with both. The percentage of Attorney’s Fees is negotiable, within reason. Whether you would like to work on the case with me or just allow me to use my system, it is negotiable. I fully inform the client of the agreement before work begins to comply with local bar rules. I must

What is the lost resale value of your vehicle after an auto accident? Is it worth $2,000.00?

Image
If you have ever traded in or sold your vehicle, then you most likely are well aware that if your vehicle has been in an auto accident you will get less then you would if your vehicle had never been in an auto accident. This is known as a diminished value claim.  I have filed  lawsuits to solely pursue diminished value claims. The diminished value is the lost resale value of your vehicle after the repair shop has already repaired your vehicle.             If you are ever in an auto accident, it is most likely public record. If your vehicle if fixed by a repair shop after an accident it goes on things like your vehicles car fax report. Anyone that may purchase your vehicle after it has been in an auto accident will be able to determine that it was in an accident. Ultimately, your vehicle loses a significant percentage of its resale value. Just recently on a Hyundai suv, I got a young lady $2,000.00 in lost resale value for her vehicle. A few months ago I got another young lady t

I got her a Policy Limits Settlement of $20,000.00 and $2,000.00 Diminished Value Settlement for the loss in resale value of her vehicle.

I got her a Policy Limits Settlement of $10,000.0 from the at-fault parties’ insurance, a Policy Limits Settlement of $10,000.00 from her underinsured motorist policy and $2,000.00 Diminished Value Settlement for the loss in resale value of her vehicle. One of my recent clients was driving along A1A in Jacksonville Beach when she heard Emergency Services approaching the intersection in front of her. As she slowed down and stopped to wait for them to pass, she was rear-ended by another driver. The Emergency Services were headed to a call with lights flashing and in a hurry. When Emergency Services are flashing lights it is always required that you yield the right of way to them even if you have the green light at an intersection. The best practice is to cautiously but quickly get out of their way. If you have been in an accident I would highly suggest after contacting the local authorities, calling a  Car Accident Lawyer . Unfortunately, for my client the driver behind her wa
