Campbell County Virginia Car Accident Resulted in Pedestrian Death

On November 16, 2020 a young women was killed in a pedestrian vs. motor vehicle collision. My heart goes out to the family of the deceased young lady a Ms. Jennifer Marsh. Jennifer was 26 years old at the time of the accident. She was from Altavista, Virginia. Altavista is just south of Lynchburg, Virginia.

The investigators assert that Jennifer was a pedestrian in the left lane of the southbound side of Route 29 when she was hit by a motor vehicle. The vehicle was unable to avoid hitting her. Currently, the driver is not facing any charges and was not hurt. The police responded to the scene of the accident around 1:17 a.m. The crash occurred just south of the Route 460 off ramp. A Ford Crown Victoria was the type of vehicle that struck Jennifer. Route 29/Wards Road is a high traffic area.
